About Hayley Boulton

I started taking yoga classes at my local gym to keep a friend company, around 20 years ago. It didn’t take me long before I was hooked, I had to know more about why yoga made me feel so energized, relaxed and have a calmer mind.

The years that followed

After the loss of a person dear to my heart as well as uncertainty within my career. My children growing into adults, making their own way in the world, it was time for a change in my life, what I wanted more than anything else was to delve into the world of yoga.

In 2013, I was working full time within a busy HR department. I enrolled on a 200 hour yoga teacher training and in June 2014 graduated from YogaLondon based in Central, London.

My Aim

My aim as a fully qualified yoga instructor, is to be inclusive within my classes. No one size will fit all – Yoga in the modern world is stereotypical of young, small, bendy, flexible people. I try my hardest to get away from this and offer yoga to everybody.

My philosophy

My philosophy or mantra is to Slow Down – Just Breathe.

Bringing your attention to something as simple as the breath can help to calm the mind. Also, bring energy into body and nourish the blood cells with oxygen. The various postures will help to align the body and detox the organs. Meditation I offer is a fantastic way of relaxing the mind and reviving the body.

Style of my classes

I enjoy a mixture of Hatha and Vinyasa classes so I encorporate the both calling my style a ‘Hatha Flow’,.

I am passionate about yoga and my classes are warm, friendly and accessible to everyone.
